Through language, we understand ourselves, each other and the world around us.
Thus, language forms an integral part of the education at Jakob-Fugger-Gymnasium. It is important that your son or daughter is proficient in German and has good German language skills in writing and reading. Therefore, our school has been offering additional language courses, so called “Sprachbegleitung”, for some years. Students enhance their German language abilities in small groups of about six students in special courses in the afternoon. The course focuses on practicing comprehensive reading and writing skills as well as understanding texts of various kinds. Moreover, every form concentrates on specific topics.
In 5th grade students primarily try to improve their reading skills as well as their grammar skills. They deal with new words and try to write stories and texts.
